Last Thursday, when children from Kindergarten One were told that they were going to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, they were very curious. “Thanksgiving? Why are those people wearing funny hats? Can we wear those hats?”  They were so excited, they couldn’t stop asking questions.

The children were told about the pilgrims and how they travelled far away from their home to be able to worship God. Kindergarten One gave thanks to God for all the things He gives and then they had a party!

By the end of the day the children were in love with their hats. They kept repeating to each other “Look! I’m a pilgrim. Are you a pilgrim, too?”
